Depressor Response of Chunggongko Extract on the Arterial Blood Pressure in the Rabbits

Abstract
|
|
|
This experiment was carried out in order to observate the hypotensive action of Chunggongko in pharmacologically and to clarify the mechanism of this action in the rabbits.
The results are as follows :
1. Blood pressure manifested gradual respose by fall of 85.3 2.91, 78.0±3.31, 67.7± 4.92 ㎜Hg in proportion to the administraction of 0.1, 0.3 and 1.0㎖/㎏ of Chunggongko extracts respectively.
2. The adminstration of Chunggongko extracts 1.0㎖/㎏ to the rabbits pretreated with atropine, pheniramine maleate, propanolol and hexamethonium did not show any significant difference in the blood pressure compared with that of control group.
